Dr. Nichole Morris
The beginning
Dr. Morris’ interest in naturopathic medicine dates back to childhood where her mother dabbled in the use of homeopathic remedies and natural cures for everyday ailments. As a child, Dr. Morris joked that her mother was the “witch doctor”. At the age of 18, after a lifetime of chronic illness, she began to reconsider the ways of the “witch doctor”. She still vividly remembers the day a local naturopath suggested she remove gluten from her diet. What 18 year old leaving home for college thinks that’s a good idea? Well, when she finally went through with it, it changed her life and the rest is history. Better late than never, it wasn’t until her mid-twenties that she learned Naturopathic Doctors even existed.
Modern Approach
Dr. Nichole Morris graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in July of 2018 where she was trained as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND). She considers herself a vitalist, with a modern twist of course, following in the footsteps of her elders in the naturopathic community. She approaches each client as an individual with his or her own story to tell. She digs deep to determine the root cause of one’s dis-ease (she’s nosey – you’re warned!). She listens with a purpose and strives to improve the foundations of one’s health.
Pure Passion
She is most passionate about homeopathy and biotherapeutic drainage, but also combines modalities such as nutrition, exercise (don’t let that scare you off!), botanicals, hydrotherapy, and mind-body techniques to support her clients in becoming their most vital selves. It’s not likely that Dr. Morris will provide you a quick fix. Redeeming one’s vitality takes hard work, and most of that work comes from you. However, Dr. Morris is on your team. It’s a guarantee that she will work harder and more passionately for your health than any other doctor you’ve encountered. What she loves most about her role in your healthcare is educating and empowering you.
In her spare time, Dr. Morris enjoys spending time with her handsome husband and sweet girls. You’ll likely find them baking in the kitchen or enjoying the great outdoors. Dr. Morris loves to garden and is passionate about sustainably growing and preserving food for her family – ask her about it sometime!
